How Framekit handles files and personal data.

Files and retention

The creator tools process selected images and videos in your browser. Files are not uploaded to our server. Generated files remain in this tab until cleared or the tab is closed or reloaded. Save downloads before leaving. Browser codec support and device memory limit which files can be processed.

No account required

We do not request Instagram passwords or read browser cookies. Submitted Instagram URLs are sent to Instagram to attempt anonymous retrieval. Optional Google Analytics starts only when you choose Allow analytics. It records page paths without query strings or fragments; it does not record your input files, submitted Instagram links or captions. Advertising signals and automatic interaction collection are disabled. Analytics cookies are used only after opt-in. You can change your choice through Analytics preferences.

Operational data

Cloudflare processes web requests and may retain security and reliability logs. Public-link lookups send the link to our Cloudflare Worker, which requests the public source without your Instagram cookies. File contents are not written to application logs. Exports use temporary browser-local links. Save the exported files to share them; the links do not work on another device. Cloudflare may process request metadata to deliver and protect the service. No account or personal support service is offered.
